In addition to being a dedicated and full-time Realtor, Lisa also has a strong sense of community. Currently, Lisa is a co-President for the Northfield Education Foundation for the Northfield Elementary & Middle Schools. As a Breast Cancer Survivor, Lisa pays it forward and has served on several committees for Gilda's Club, a non profit organization for people living with cancer and as the co-chair & main sponsor for their 2003, 2004 & 2005 annual art auction has raised over $110,000. And in Memory of her father started a doner wall with her Mother & sister that continues to raise money. Previously she served the on the Board of Realtors, on the Board of Directors for Margate JCC, the board of directors & as a trustee for the Shore Mother's Association, a cub scout leader, worked on the strategic planning committee for NCS & is active with several various local projects & events throughout each year.
She attended University of Miami & Florida International University & graduated with a bachelors degree in hospitality management. She lived in Las Vegas & worked for the Mirage Resorts (Golden Nugget, Treasure Island & The Mirage) for 7 years, where customer service & exceeding Client & Customers expectations was the norm. While there, Lisa wrote & published a well received book on Las Vegas Employment.
Lisa was raised in this area with a bloodline connecting her to the local real estate industry: her grandfather Harry Goldberg was local home/hotel builder, her father Lawrence Alper was a commercial real estate Broker & her mother Ronnie Alper & sister Stacey Marchel are still successfully selling residential property in Margate. Lisa lives happily off-shore with her husband Mike Russo & their children Haley & Logan.
